“I like butterflies,” McKay said. “Theoretically.”
Sheppard scrunched. “How can you like theoretical butterflies?”
“The butterflies are real. The like is theoretical.”
Teyla raised her eyebrows. “I still do not understand.”
“Butterflies are pretty, yes.” He said, compartmentalizing the words with his hands. “I like to see them flying. But I don’t need to see them up close, and I do not want them on me.”
Ronon laughed. “You’re going to love this planet.” Then he pushed McKay through the ‘gate.
“Next time,” Sheppard said, “let me go first so I can see the expression on his face.”
