“Wilson, are you all right?” Cuddy called across the clinic lobby.Wilson stopped and looked up from the mail he was carrying. “Yes? At least I thought I was until you asked.”

She walked over to him, frowning as she eyed him critically. “Walk over to the door and back.”

Wilson did as she requested. “What’s wrong with how I walk?”

“No, do it again. Like you normally would. Like you don’t know I’m watching.” She folded her arms across her chest and focused her attention on his ass.

Wilson strode across the room again, looking back over his shoulder. “It’d be easier to do if you weren’t actually staring at me.”

Cuddy turned to the girl at the reception desk. “Do you see it?”

The girl leaned over the counter and watched Wilson pace back and forth. “He’s sort of… limping.”

Wilson looked helplessly around the room. “I’m not limping!”

An old man sitting in one of the waiting room chairs nodded. “She’s right. You’re limping.”

“I’m… you’re… you’re all just… seeing things!” Wilson shook his head and walked out of the clinic. He took great care to ensure that he was not limping and joined House in the hallway.

“What was all that about?” House asked.

“Cuddy thinks I’m limping.”

Wilson fell in step with House. Each footfall matched exactly as they made their way toward the elevator.

House glanced sideways and shrugged. “I’ve never noticed.”
